James Clark Distilling Co. owned the Braddock Pure Rye Distillery in Cumberland, MD. The distillery was named after Major General Edward Braddock, who served in the Britsh army during the French and Indian wars.
By 1903, the James Clark Distilling Co. had offices in VA and WV.
Advertising in 1914 showed James Clark to be President of the company, John Keating as VP and Treasurer.
