Clark is shown as President. 1905: The taxable value of distilled spirits for this year was $120,408. 1907: The taxable value of distilled spirits for this year was $140,816. 1909: The taxable value of distilled spirits for this year was $127,708. The Braddock Pure Rye Distillery was built in 1855 but was later converted into a chemical plant. James Clark purchased it in 1883 and restored it. By 1903, the James Clark Distilling Co. had offices in VA and WV.
