GRIMMS / FAYETTE
Text is arched/reverse arched around a frosted image of a battle scene. At center is a WWI-era German Iron Cross medal with the letter "W" at center (Kaiser Willhelm) and crown at top . The Union Jack and Stars and Stripes fly behind the cross at left and right, respectively. A Revolutionary War-era cannon appears at left and the foreground includes a fallen US standard of some kind. Flying above the scene is a US eagle with arrows clutched in its talons. |

Condition: |
I have only seen two of these glasses and both are clumsily etched. This one has an ill-defined region at center that looks as if the stencil was improperly applied, and the etch is weaker at the edges than it should be. Other than that, the glass only has superficial handling marks and is near mint! |
