The label reads: HAYNER / SEVEN YEAR OLD / RYE / THE HAYNER DISTILLING CO. / DISTILLERS AND IMPORTERS / DAYTON OHIO USA.. A black panel that incorporates the Hayner barrel-and-horseshoe trademark cautions "As a protection against fraud see that each package bears our trademark and signature none genuine without this label".
