An paper-weight in amber glass, fashioned to look like a bottle of Mt Vernon Pure Rye Whiskey. Mt. Vernon was distilled in Baltimore, MD. by the Hannis Distilling Co., of Philadelphia, PA. It measures 3-1/8" tall, 1-1/2" square. The glass is embossed on three sides with text that reads: "MOUNT VERNON / PURE / RYE WHISKEY", then "BOTTLED / AT THE / DISTILLERY", then "PURITY / GUARANTEED BY / HANNIS DIST'L'G CO." The last side contained a paper label that mimicked that found on an real bottle.
