A mechanical trade card from the Harvest King Distilling Co. of Kansas City, MO. The card is a pop-up device that reveals a delicate paper bee when opened. It was designed to be mailed sealed shut, bearing an address panel on one side, a message from Harvest King regarding Harvest King Baltimore Rye - "King Bee of Whiskies" - on the obverse. It measures 5-5/8" x 3-1/2" when closed and was mailed on Jan. 1, 1905.
