A silver-plated back-bar decanter from Straus Bros. Co. of Chicago, IL. It is 3-1/2" in diameter and stands 10-1/16" tall (11-3/4" with the cap). The bottom is marlked "Benedict Mfg Co. / Quadruple Plate. This company was in business by that name from 1894-1906: they made hotel and flatware products for restaurants and bars.

One side of the bottle is engraved with the name of the dealer, the other with the brand name "Old Cabinet Rye".
