A one-pint amber glass flask with a paper label that shows that it once "Ancient Special Reserve," a Gibson's Pure Rye Whiskey. It was distilled at John Gibson's Son & Co's. Gibsonton Mills plant in Westmoreland Co., PA by the Gibson Distilling Co of Philadelphia, PA. The rear label notes that it was made prior to Sept. 8th, 1917 and packaged and sold for medicinal purposes during Prohibition. The bottle stands 8 -1/2" high, is 3-1/4" wide and 2" thick.
