A one-pint clear glass flask with a paper label that shows that it once Gibson's Brand Pure Rye Whiskey. It was distilled at John Gibson's Son & Co's. Gibsonton Mills plant in Westmoreland Co., PA by the Gibson Distilling Co of Philadelphia, PA.

Although made prior to 1917, the box shows that it was bottled and sold for medicinal purposes during Prohibition.
