A clear glass flask in a cardboard package that still contains Dougherty's Private Stock Pure Rye Whiskey, from John A Dougherty's Sons Inc. of Philadelphia, PA. The neck label notes that it was made in Spring of 1913 and bottled in fall of 1928 - but with a 1931 overstrike. It measures 8-1/2" tall, 4" wide, and has a capacity of one pint.

The rear of the box notes that the whiskey was "18 summers old" when bottled: again, there is a patch over the numeral that suggests the box was originally printed with "15 summers old".
