A clear glass bottle with a paper label showing that it once contained Stewart Pure Rye Whiskey, made by Stewart Distilling Co. Stewart was a consolidation of Carstairs, McCall & Co. and Carstairs Bros. of Philadelphia, PA. It measures 11-1/2" tall, 3-1/4" across the base, and has a capacity of one quart. A label on the rear (shown here) shows that it was made prior to 1920, but was sold during Prohibition for medicinal purposes.
