A clear, tooled-top bottle with fluting around the neck and base that is characteristic of the Hayner Distilling Co. of Dayton, OH. The bottle is one quart size, standing 11-3/4" tall and 3-1/4" across the base and is shown with a full label indicating the contents to be Hayner Miami Valley Rye.

The embossing on the reverse of the bottle reads: THE HAYNER DISTILLING COMPANY / DAYTON, OHIO / & / ST LOUIS, MO.DISTILLERS, while the base is embossed with: DESIGN PATENTED / NOV 30th 1897 and the number 4.
