A clear, labelled bottle from the Hayner Distilling Co. of Dayton, OH. The bottle is one quart size with fluted base and panelled shoulders, measuring 12" in height, 3-1/2" in diameter. The rear is embossed with "THE HAYNER DISTILLING CO. DAYTON, ST. LOUIS ATLANTA, ST. PAUL DISTILLERS", while the base is embossed "NOV. 30,1897". The paper label on the front shows that it once contained "Hayner Special Rye Malt".
