SYRIA TEMPLE (applied to the side of a fancy goblet below the Pennsylvania coat of arms. The bowl is held by a silver scimitar from which hands a silver crescent and star. The scimitar is supported by two gilded columns and the plinth at their base is embossed PITTSBURG, PA.)

The obverse of the glass is also decorated. The bowl contains a transfer image of a bear, with JUNE 10TH / 1902 written below. The plinth is embossed with SAN FRANCISCO 1902
