Baugh Bros. were originally druggists, selling whiskey for medicinal use. Their Rye Malt Whiskey bottle label said "Recognized by the medical fraternity as being the best kind of whiskey to use in case of sickness on account of its containing no poisonous drugs or added poisons". They also had an office in Terre Haute (information courtesy of a Vincennes bottle collector).
