The Kentucky Liquor Co. began life in 1902 at 1130 Pacific Ave. Peter Sandberg was President; he also owned the Standard Liquor Co. He was succeeded in 1908 by Fred Palmer and then in 1909 by J C Day. In 1910, the company moved to 102 S 14th and remained there until the state went dry in 1915 (OASG).
