1897: The MD State Tax Commissioner reports that the taxable value of distilled spirits for this year was $48,252. The distillery was being owned or operated by the Maryland Distilling Co., Jos. Gottschalk, Treasurer. 1905: The MD State Tax Commissioner reports that the taxable value of distilled spirits for this year was $82,964. The distillery was again owned or operated by Maryland Distilling Co. 1907: The taxable value of distilled spirits for this year was $90,724. Maryland Distilling Co. were operating the plant.
