Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery was of frame construction, measuring 221 x 32 ft. It was operating as the late Granville Mabry and as H G Cox. There were two bonded warehouses, each with a 40-barrel capacity. The Mabry warehouse was frame with a shingle roof, located 150 ft north of the still. The Cox warehouse was log with a shingle roof and lay 250 ft north of the still. |
