Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery was located on Bruin Creek. It was built of logs and measured 32 ft x 22 ft. The property included a two bonded warehouses. The first was a 16 ft x 16 ft frame warehouse with a shingle roof, lying 500 ft east of the still. The second was a 2-storey log building with a shingle roof. It measured 17 ft x 15 ft and was located 500 ft south of the still. At that time, it was being operated by W W Green. |
