Registered Distillery #20, 8 th District, Lee County, KY (1892)

Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery property included a single bonded warehouse, measuring 15 x 20 ft. It was of frame construction with a metal or slate roof, located 35 ft south of the still.

At that time, it was owned by T T Robert.

Note that there is an inconsistency between insurance and IRS records, because 1901 through 1904, RD #20 of the 8 th was in Ottenheim, Lincoln Co., and Milton Warren was making withdrawals from an associated warehouse.
