Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892-1895 suggest that the distillery was of frame construction with a metal or slate roof. It had been constructed in 1890-1891. The single bonded warehouse was iron-clad with a metal or slate roof, but had burned in September, 1893. It was located 105 ft west of the still. At the time, it was owned by Hawkins & Bro. |
