Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery was of frame construction and had a capacity of 5.40 bushels. The property included a single bonded warehouse that measured 10 ft x 12 ft, also of frame construction with a shingle roof, 45 ft south of the still. At that time, it was being operated by Presley Palmer. |
