Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery was of frame construction. The property included a two bonded warehouses: Warehouse A -- frame construction with a shingle roof, located 440 ft SW of the still. Warehouse B -- formerly a free warehouse, frame construction with a shingle roof, located 55 ft SW of the still. At that time, the still was being operated by Shelby Jett, successor to Ogg & French. |
