Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery was of log construction. The property included a single bonded warehouse located 45 ft NE of the distillery. It measured 8 x 12 ft and was of log construction with a shingle roof. At that time the still was being operated by Tyrie & Sizemore.
