| Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery was of log construction with a shingle roof. The distillery grounds included a house and a single bonded warehouse located over 200 yards from the still. It was of frame construction with a shingle roof. At that time, it was owned by J & T I Herring. |
