Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the 18 x 37 ft distillery was of frame construction. The property included a single bonded warehouse measuring 10 x 15 ft, built from logs with a shingle roof. It was located 50 ft from the still. At that time, it was owned by Pigman & Francis, also Francis & Smith. |
