Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery was built from logs. The property included a two bonded warehouses: Old Warehouse -- frame construction with a shingle roof, 900 ft west of the still. Warehouse No. 2 -- adjoins Old Warehouse. At that time, the still was owned by Wyatt Norfleet, late W Norfleet & Bro. |
