Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 note that the distillery was located 4 miles east of Harrodsburg. The still house was iron-clad with a metal or slate roof and the property included cattle sheds 150 ft north, housing cattle to feed on the slops. There were two warehouses set 10 ft apart: Warehouse A (or No. 1) -- stone with a metal or slate roof, 100 ft SW of the still Warehouse B (or No. 2) -- iron clad with a metal or slate roof, 62 ft south of the still.
