Information from insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery property included a mill annd single iron-clad warehouse, 130 ft east of the still. At the time, it was being run by J T Wheatley whose address was noted to be the Big Springs Post Office in Breckenridge County (2nd District of KY), but the distillery was in the 5 th District. |
