RD #32, 2 nd District
Henderson County, KY

Information from insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery property included a single frame warehouse with a metal or slate roof, 100 ft NW of the still. There were also frame cattle pens on the site.

At that time, it was being run by the Pilgrimage Distilling Co., "late Withers, Dade & Co."

Cecil (1999) notes that Withers, Dade & Co. were producing around 300-400 barrels per annum in 1880 and that their "Hand Made Sour Mash" was released through Templet & Washburn in Louisville. He also suggests that the distillery burned in 1888 and that the company ceased operations at that time.

There are several warehouse records for RD #32 (covering the years 1898-1904), but they place the warehouse in Madisonville, Hopkins County, KY.
