The following few pages pay tribute to the life and work of Barbara Edmonson, better known to pre-pro glass collectors as the author of Historic Shot Glasses and Old Advertising Spirits Glasses ( "HSG" and "OASG").

Barb was formidable pre-pro collector with well over a thousand glasses in her possession at one time. Her work on the two books provided collectors with a common language that helped define the hobby as we know it today. She created the bed rock upon which the modern pre-pro community was built.
