Paul Friedman listed from 1895-1906. J.A. Cunningham was a Louisville KY. firm, successor to McKee, Cunningham & Co., 1872-1881. The Paul Friedman Co. of San Francisco had distribution rights from their offices at 312 Battery St. Edmonson suggests that they were wiped out by the 1906 earthquake. Cunningham brands included "Cunningham" and "Red Lion Gin" (R: 1899). Brand names used by this company include: "Cremorne", "Cunningham", "Hobson's Choice", "Maiden", and "Real McCoy-Pure Quill-The Straight Whiskey."
