The GT signature indicates that this is an original George Truog glass. The design is clearly related to the familiar Hayner cylinders, themselves suggested by Truog's grand-daughter to have Truog origins. The 1891 Grain Dealers and Shippers Gazetteer (a period trade Journal) identifes a "Binkhoelter & Buente" as shipping via the St. Louis, Iron Mountain & Southern Railway. Company name timeline: Geo.
