Isaac Merkel & Son listed from 1878-1919. *Glass measurements have not been confirmed. Isaac Merkel & Lazarus Kahner (invoice dated 1882). The company also had a branch in Rouse's Point, NY. Isaac Merkel, Aaron Merkel and David Merkel (invoice dated 1911 but printed at least two years earlier). The 1913 city directory shows the remaining son to be David Merkel, the company being "rectifiers and wholesale liquor dealers, bottlers and jobber in cigars". Isaac's other son, Aaron, is the figure seated in the armchair in the patented (1906) Bachelor Rye design. Brand names used by this company include: "Bachelor Rye", "Clinton County Club", "Wedding Bouquet", and "Wedding Bouquet Pure Rye."
