Charles Wittenberg listed from 1884-1918. *Glass measurements have not been confirmed. The Chas H. Wittenberg Distilling Co. is listed at 2652-2654 Franklin Ave from at least 1916 to 1918. Business directories are incomplete, but Charles Wittenberg is identified as a wholesaler from 1884. He was at 1015 Washington Ave. He moved to Franklin Ave in 1886 then his sons joined the company in 1894. Apparently they weren't much help because they left again in 1897. The switch to "Distilling Co." occurred some time after 1900. Brand names used by this company include: "Blue Wing."
