Looking left, we now take in the long wall of whiskies (to the right of us when we originally entered the room).  The gaming table in the foreground houses displays of cards, poker chips and celluloid-backed advertising mirrors beneath a modern glass top.  The original wooden cover was used in construction of the table in the doorway: it was designed to be removed when a game was in the offing.
