The Fall shot-hunting season seems to be approaching and we finally have several nice glasses worth talking about. There was an outstanding "Warren F Witherall" that junkmoney took time out from his squashed penny habit to snatch for $32. It's unlisted and its origins unknown but wonderful graphics. Then there was a Van Hook from Holyoke, MA (also unlisted) that went to cafendari for $58.52. And then there was this one - a picture glass from F. M. Doyle & Co. of Boston MA. These are the same folks that produced the Braunschweige Mumme Malt Extract glasses. The rim's a little worn but it still came at a bargain price $64. A late snipe from The Genuine nearly spoiled hecurrier's game but now it's firmly headed for CO. Congratulations Howard!! |
