"George Beck deals in pure wines and liquors, and he claims to sell purer and finer brandy than any other liquor merchant in Rochester. He knows what he speaks of, for he has had his brandy analyzed, and also that imported by the Liquor Merchants. At all events, HE WILL BACK UP what he asserts." (1874, p. 564).
