See also Strauss, Schwartz & Co. at 16 Walnut in 1908.

In 1875, the two owners are Isaac Mansbach and Marks Schwartz.
By 1886, Samuel Strauss has been added to the partnership but Mansbach drops out to set up on his own by 1897 and the business changes its name to Schwartz, Strauss & Co. A Letterhead dated 12-6-1917 shows the owners as Marks Schwartz, Samuel Strauss and Leon S. Schwartz.

The company used the brand names:
"Black Ostrich", "Clyde Run", "Gaiety Club", and "Nectar."
