The Glendale Co., also known as the Glendale Springs Distilling Co., was owned by Siegfried ("Sig") and Adolph Samuels. The brothers were born in Breslau, Germany (1875 and 1867, respectively) and moved to Atlanta with family. Lina Levison (sister) and Isadore Samuels (brother) were also involved in the business. The brothers apparently owned retail outlets throughout the city, including 14 Marietta St.
When GA went dry in 1908, the businesses were moved to Chattanooga, TN. and Jacksonville, FL. Isadore managed A Samuels in Chattanooga. Lina's husband Arnold Levison managed A Samuels in Jacksonville with his 2 sons. See also the listings for The Glendale Co in Chattanooga, and Jacksonville.

The copy labelled (by hand) "1900" may be incorrect - street addresses shift several vendors back in time so the copy may actually be of an earlier directory.
