Insurance underwriter records compiled in 1892 suggest that the distillery was of built of stone with a metal or slate roof. The distillery property included a cattle barn 106 ft north of the still, and a double stone warehouse with a metal or slate roof. It was located 180 ft east of the still.
In 1892, it was being operated by Glen Spring Dist. Co., but it had been operating for many years under the control of C Stege.
